NEW DELHI: The sunrise Indian IT industry recorded a growth of 32 per cent in rupee terms, in fiscal 2006-`07, to cross the $50 billion mark, according to a survey by Dataquest magazine. The industry growth in dollar terms was at 30 per cent.

Damauli, May 23: Three hydropower project has been launched in Firfire and Raipur Village Development Committee of Tanhun district from Kyangdi River.

Among the three power projects, Kygandi first generates 15 KW, Kyangdi second 12 and Kyagandi third 6 kilowatt, said energy advisor of the rural energy development branch, Nitesh Joshi.

The total cost of the project is estimated to be around 46 hundred thousand and have benefited 1,715 residents of 343 households of two VDCs after the construction of project.

Villagers are happy to have electricity generated from the project.
